Bringing Elite Soccer Coaching for Kids to Miami

We Make Footballers has officially landed in the United States. After years of success in the UK, where we helped more than 300 players sign for professional clubs, we’re excited to bring our proven approach to soccer coaching for kids to sunny Miami, Florida.

Our mission has always been simple: help children fall in love with football (or soccer, as it's called here!) while developing real skills, confidence, and character.

Now, families in the US can experience the same player-first, fun-driven environment that has made We Make Footballers one of the most trusted names in youth soccer coaching.

Why Soccer Coaching for Kids Matters

The Right Coaching Shapes the Player — and the Person

The early years are the most important when it comes to soccer coaching for kids. A good coach doesn’t just teach passes or drills — they help children grow, on and off the pitch.

We base our approach on four core coaching principles, all drawn from youth coaching best practices and backed by research:

Make Practice Fun

Children play best when they’re enjoying themselves. That’s why we focus on creating fun, game-based sessions. We don’t do boring drills — we make football exciting.

As one expert said: “If you can make them love the game, you can teach them the game.”

Focus on the Individual

Every child is unique. Our sessions are designed to help each player improve based on their age, confidence, and skill level — not just their position or the team result.

Let Kids Learn Through Play

We keep our sessions playful and varied. Instead of just telling kids what to do, we let them experiment, solve problems, and try new things. It builds creativity and resilience — both as players and as people.

Keep Them Active

Nobody wants to stand around in queues. We maximise what coaches call “ball rolling time” — the amount of time the ball is actually in play. Our sessions keep players moving, thinking, and developing.

Our Coaching Model — Simple, Structured, Proven

We’ve taken the best of European academy coaching and made it easy for kids to enjoy. Every session is carefully planned and delivered by qualified coaches who genuinely care.

What We Focus On

  • Technical skill (dribbling, passing, ball control)

  • Confidence building

  • Physical coordination and movement

  • Decision-making and creativity

  • Respect, teamwork, and love for the game

Whether your child is brand new to football or already showing signs of talent, we meet them where they’re at and help them move forward.

Why Miami?

Miami is quickly becoming a football hotspot in the US. With FIFA’s new headquarters, Inter Miami’s rise, and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup coming soon — there’s no better place to launch our US journey.

We’re already seeing strong demand from local families looking for high-quality soccer coaching for kids. Our sessions are filling up fast, and the energy at our trials has been incredible.
